Heard idiot on CNN talking about how it’s unbelievable that people still die in tornadoes, since we know days in advance that severe weather is coming and people should know and take precaution ahead of time.
If we all hunkered down in basements every time severe weather was predicted, no one in Missouri would go anywhere ever. I mean, we have tornado watches or warnings every other week this time of year. Severe thunderstorm warnings weekly. And they last for days.
People who don’t live in Tornado Alley don’t need to be telling those of us who do how to live with it. Yes, maybe we do get a little numb to it over time, and probably don’t take the warnings as seriously as we should, but most of us aren’t stupid about it.
